Reiki I Certification

w/Carol Britain

Saturday, June 7th

12:30 - 5:30 PM

$175 (discount for members)

Please join Carol Britain for this Reiki Level 1 class on Saturday, June 7th from 12:30PM to 5:30PM at Anahata Yoga Sanctuary. What is Reiki? The word Reiki is a combination of two Japanese words - “Rei” which means universal and “Ki” which means life energy. Reiki literally means Universal Life Energy. Reiki is a Japanese energy healing system that was developed by Mikao Usui in the 1920’s, when during a 21-day meditation on Mount Kurama he received a vision of the Reiki system. In this class, we will learn about energy medicine and how to work with Reiki energy, using it as a tool for self healing (you can use it for others as well, but this class is primarily focused on self healing). You will receive four attunements (or initiations) that open you up as a channel to receive Reiki energy. Once you have been attuned to Reiki, the energy will always be available to you if you choose to use it. These classes are limited to four students to keep them small and intimate, leaving space for sharing and discussion. We will also spend time in class practicing Reiki with our fellow students. You will receive a manual and certificate of completion. The cost for the class is $175. Carol is a trauma-informed yoga teacher, Reiki Master, and practitioner of Shamanic energy medicine. She lives with her beloved dog Daisy in the beautiful Texas Hill Country among the ancient and wise oak trees and amazing sunsets. To learn more, please go to www.carolbritain.com.

We Also Offer Free Community Events

"I’ve been doing yoga for many years and I’ve honestly never had a better instructor than Jackie. I love that she is welcoming to all skill levels and is able to seamlessly challenge the advanced students while providing perfect options for the newer practitioner. I also really appreciate that one class may be a super zen yin, another a structured ashtanga, and another a butt-kicking sweaty vinyasa. All of them are taught with love, patience, acceptance, and openness. Her humor and openness connect instantly with the class creating a real community over time. I’m so thankful to have found her."
