What is Reiki? The word Reiki is a combination of two Japanese words - “Rei” which means universal and “Ki” which means life energy. Reiki literally means Universal Life Energy. In this class, we will learn about energy medicine & how to work with Reiki energy, using it as a tool for self healing (you can use it for others as well, but this class is primarily focused on self healing). You will receive four attunements (or initiations) that open you up as a channel to receive Reiki energy. These classes are limited to 4 students to keep them small & intimate, leaving space for sharing & discussion. We will also spend time in class practicing Reiki with our fellow students. You will receive a manual & certificate of completion. Carol Britain is a trauma-informed yoga teacher, Reiki Master, and practitioner of Shamanic energy medicine.
