Conversations on Grief
w/Sabiha

Friday, August 29th
6:15 - 7:30 PM
FREE (donations accepted)
Join us in building community this Friday with Sabiha for a Conversation on Grief. Starting with a short presentation, she opens up the floor to explore what may happen when we experience grief, how we can understand and honor this journey and weave it into our new storyline. We will wrap up with a short meditation to close our time together. About Sabiha: Hospice social worker for 15 years. Education: Bachelors in Psychology (UT Austin), Masters in Medical Social Work, Masters in Palliative Care. I have the privilege of accompanying seriously ill patients through their end of life stage, engaging in matters of death and dying, and providing support to families as they process through anticipatory grief and find meaning in suffering. Other: Adjunct professor for graduate students in palliative care program course work, community engagement in advance care planning and EoL matters. Date: Friday, August 29th Time: 6:15 - 7:30 PM Cost: FREE, this is a gift from Sabiha and AYS but donations are accepted to go towards continuing to build our grassroots community

Get to Know Us
We are more than a yoga studio — we are a soulful community, a sanctuary for the full spectrum of the human experience.

Through yoga in its many forms — breath, movement, stillness — we guide people back home to themselves.
We honor each person’s journey — all its beauty, struggles, and imperfections, holding space for healing and transformation.
Here, it is not only acceptable to be imperfect — it is human. And to be human is to feel, to stumble, to rise, to rest, and to begin again.

Whether you come to soften, to grow, to be held, or to remember who you are — you are welcome.
This space is yours: a place to return to, a place to belong, a place to call home.
